 The Czech Coordination Office for the United Nations Spatial Data Infrastructure (UNSDI) was established on the basis of a kick-off meeting for Czech participation in the United Nations Geographic Working Group (UNGIWG)-UNSDI initiative on the 18th of May 2006 in Brandys nad Labem near Prague. The CCO is supported by the Czech Centrum for Science and Society and its goal is coordinate Czech activities for the establishment of a UNSDI and coordinate Czech national activities with the UNGIWG Membership, some thirty UN Agencies and programmes, and other international and national bodies. Due the fact, that we would like to contribute to building SDI globally we decide to connect two our initiatives Geoportal4everybody and activity of Czech Coordination Office for UNSDI. We decide to merge both existing portal www.unsdi.cz and http://www.geoportal4everybody.eu.
